Closing for a few months, or stopping for good? By the end of this article, you will know how to pause your account, wake it up, or ask for it to be deleted — and what each of these steps changes. They are reserved for the Owner.

1Open My account
Open Settings › My account. The screen has three blocks: All your data, Make dormant and Delete my account.
2Make the account dormant
Click Make dormant, then confirm with Put to sleep. Your tills stop taking payments and show This account is asleep. Nothing is deleted — sales, products, staff and history are all waiting for you. The back office stays open, with a banner at the top of every screen.

Important — Making the account dormant does not stop a Pro subscription. To stop paying while you are closed, cancel it from My subscription: see Upgrade to the Pro plan.
3Wake the account up
There are two ways back:
- click Reactivate my account, in the banner or in My account;
- or sign in to the back office again with the Owner's account: the account wakes up on its own.
Your tills stay paired. On each one, tap I have reactivated — check again: it starts again with no new code.

4Ask for the account to be deleted
Click Delete my account, then Yes, I confirm. Nothing is erased that day: you have 30 days to change your mind. During that time the account works as normal — you sell, take payments and export. A banner at the top of every screen reminds you of the planned date.

Before the deadline, take your data with you: Download all my data prepares a ZIP file with everything you have entered since day one.
Important — If you subscribe to Pro, the request stops the charges: Pro stays open until the end of the month already paid, then the account moves to Starter.
5Change your mind
Click Cancel my request, in the banner or in My account: everything carries on as before, and the subscription stopped by the request starts again. Once the 30 days are over, deletion may happen any day, and it cannot be undone.
