Does the till keep working if the internet drops?
Yes. CYSOL keeps your catalogue on the device and carries on taking payments during the outage: sales are recorded on the spot, then sent up automatically as soon as the network returns, with no duplicates and nothing to retype. On a charged tablet, a power cut does not stop it either.
Does CYSOL work on a phone?
Yes. CYSOL is a web app built to run in a modern browser on a compatible phone. You can use it straight away, with no download from an app store.
Can I use it on a tablet or a computer?
Yes. CYSOL runs on a tablet, a Windows or Mac computer, a Chromebook, or any device with a modern browser that meets the technical requirements.
Do I have to install an app?
No, there is nothing to download: CYSOL opens straight in your browser. If you would rather have an icon on your home screen, your browser can add one in a single gesture — again with no app store involved.
Can I create several staff accounts?
The Starter plan, free for life, includes a single user — you. The Pro plan lets you create as many as you need, each with their own PIN.
Does each member of staff have their own code?
Yes. Each member of staff opens the till with their own four-digit PIN, which belongs to them alone: every sale, every opening and every closing is therefore tied to the right person. The manager signs in to the back office with their email address and password.
Can I follow my sales from the dashboard?
Yes. Your dashboard shows your takings, the number of transactions and your sales history. More indicators will be added over time.
Is the free plan time-limited?
No. The Starter plan stays free for as long as you use it. It is simply capped at one user and one till.
Which printers are compatible?
Thermal ticket printers using the ESC/POS standard, in 80 mm — the most widespread format in the world. Four connections are supported: USB on Windows, USB on Android, network by IP address, and browser printing as a fallback. A printer connected by USB or on your local network keeps printing tickets during an internet outage.
What does the Pro plan add?
For €9.90 a month excl. tax, you lift every limit: unlimited cashiers and tills, full history with no date limit, and every management tool — table service, stock, quotes and invoices, expenses and advances, suppliers and purchases, fixed costs, payroll and the time clock. On top of that come profitability, forecasts, CYSOL Control, the activity log and the online catalogue.
What happens to my data if I stay on Starter?
It is kept in full. The Starter plan gives access to the last month; the day you move to Pro, you get your whole history back at once. Nothing is ever deleted.
